When a new delicatessen opens up, do angels sing and bells ring? I thought I heard them as I strolled into Ayde's Deli, which is located just North of the Four Corners (Intersection of Rt.'s 202 and 25) at 849 Federal Road in Brookfield.

Ayde's is located about a mile from the radio station. Having worked here for almost 10 years, I've run the gamut on lunchtime locations in the immediate area. Ayde's is a nice addition that will satisfy the Four Corners breakfast and lunchtime crowd.

As you can see from the photos above, Ayde's features a few tried and true selections for their regular lunch menu. Daily specials are posted on their Facebook page, and they are now serving delicious tacos and burritos on Thursdays.

Enough about the food, you can see in the pics that they have what you're looking for. The main draw for me to Ayde's now? Ayde and her family themselves. What genuine, nice people! It's a true family-run operation, with mom, dad, and the two kids attending to your culinary needs.

I enjoyed a "Big Beef" sandwich around a month ago, and loved it. I then made my breakfast and lunches for the past couple of weeks since I'm kinda broke, but I stopped by last Thursday and hung out with them as they graciously let me sample a couple of tacos. So good.

I'll be back often. Please support Ayde and her brand-new delicious business. This is the type of place that "shopping local" means so much to.
