Where do I begin about how much is so very wrong with this concept?

Burritos - GOOD. Dropped by Drones - BAD. Well, at least I think so. But the testing is underway. Gotta love technology, I guess.

Time.com, is reporting that food delivery by drone is happening on the Virginia Tech campus. Watch out, here comes the salsa! Damn, the guacamole dropped in my eye.

I guess going out for fast food just isn't fast enough. So why not have us deliver it to you via drones. Google is experimenting with the method and drones were spotted this week making repeated deliveries to a grass patch at Virginia Polytechnic Institute.

Google has a parent company called Alphabet, and Alphabet has a division called Project Wing which focuses on Google's drone ambitions.

My first thought continues to be that this whole drones dropping things from the sky idea is not going to bode well for us. And when I heard the experimenting was on the Virginia Tech campus, my mind couldn't help going to the horrific tragedy that happened there in 2007. So my second thought is that I'd be totally freaked to be there with drones buzzing overhead. But hey, what do I know. Technology - full steam ahead.
