March is Women's History Month. Let's see how we fare in the state of Connecticut.

March is Woman's History Month, and The White House just issued a Presidential Proclamation honoring us.

Now, there is a new survey that also says Connecticut is one of the best women-friendly states in the United States.

WalletHub compared all fifty states, and the District of Columbia, taking various factors into account. Not only does the WalletHub findings show that Connecticut is eleventh on the list of 2016's Best and Worst States for Women, but we rank in the top five states with the lowest amount of women living in poverty.

A different survey from WalletHub offers up some strong findings for women in business. Their 2016's Best & Worst Cities for Women- Owned Businesses scores eight Connecticut cities with strong marks. I know that there is still many problems overall in our state, but there is a lot in these findings for us to be proud of.
