Connecticut is home to some of the best fishing areas and fishing "holes" around. The season just opened, now where to go?

If you are an avid fisherman, fisher - person (politically correct) then you know exactly when you can bait that pole, and drop or throw it into the waters of Connecticut. But, just in case you aren't sure, the ct.gov site offers all sorts of information. Everything is at your fingertips, from fishing tips, to buying licenses, to weekly fishing tips, it is a venerable cornucopia of all things fish related. If the site could clean and cook them for you it would!

Now, once you've made sure you are armed with all that knowledge, another very useful site is Visit Connecticut, where you'll find not only spots to fish, but also links to camping, boating, picnicking and more.

Enjoy your weekend! Don't forget to invite me over for the fish fry.
