You better pay more attention than this woman is, because there's something else to be on the look out for in Connecticut at the pumps.

Hackers are using new methods to get credit card data. I have to admit, when I came across this news blurb I wasn't surprised. What I am however, is dismayed. Every time I read something like this I think to myself, couldn't they put their brains to work to cure a disease? Save a life, do something positive, instead of stealing. I'm so naive.

Anyway, we all need to be more aware of the thieving around us, so here's the newest.

In a story from NBCconnecticut.com, police all across Connecticut are warning motorists of skimming devices that collect your personal information while you fill up. A dozen towns have been targeted with skimmers hidden behind gas pumps. Instead of going over the card reader, the skimmer is hidden behind the pump so you don't even have a clue about what is happening!
