Sing along with me, now! Fuzzy Wuzzy was a bear...Fuzzy Wuzzy had no hair. Whoops, wrong kiddie song! We're talking caterpillars here. Very, very hungry caterpillars.

I guess you can think of bears, though, when you read this story. After all, those fuzzy wuzzy caterpillars are often referred to as woolly bears. I'm not an insect/bug person at all, but there is just something about the fuzzies crawling on your hand. Sadly, we aren't talking about those.

According to Fox61.com, Connecticut is being invaded by some very hungry caterpillars, and they are on a mission of destruction. It appears that we haven't seen an invasion quite like this in decades, and as much as I like a Winter without much snow, and a Spring that isn't overly wet, the story says that we need to pray for rain!
