A New Milford couple were returning from a great day in Port Jefferson when all of a sudden a car approaching from the other direction crossed the yellow line and time stopped.

At 7:12pm this past Sunday, Danny and Betty Falls were on their motorcycle on Rt.25 in Monroe heading back to New Milford from Port Jeff, Long Island when they were hit head on. Their injuries are extensive and they're both fighting for their lives at St. Vincent Medical Center in Bridgeport according to an article in the Danbury Daily Voice.

The couple has had multiple surgeries and are on 24/7 life support in the ICU. Their medical bills are already astronomical and mounting daily, and that's where the GoFundMe campaign comes in. According to the GoFundMe page:

These two loving individuals need all the help they can get. We want to make sure they have everything taken care of financially so that they can strictly focus on getting better.

Yesterday the hospital confirmed that both Betty and Dan remain in critical condition. If you can find it in your heart to donate whatever you can afford, you'll be helping two incredible people receive the medical care they desperately need.
