From a story on NBC Connecticut, ten men were arrested on October 6th by Fairfield police with the help of the former TV host of "To Catch A Predator," Chris Hansen. The men were allegedly contacting children over the internet and are being arraigned in court this week. From a story in the News-Times, one of those men, Stephen Buchanan, who's dream was to become a Stratford police officer, has pleaded not guilty to attempted second degree sexual assault, attempted risk of injury to a child, and enticing a minor through the computer. Even scarier, after Buchanan was arrested, Fairfield police found a loaded gun, a roll of duct tape, and a knife packaged in a bag in his car. He is being held in lieu of $1.1 million bond.
