Drew Arcoleo, a member of the Ridgefield High School Class of 2010, had a strong showing Monday night on NBC's The Voice, and picked Adam Levine's team after he was the first to turn his chair around while Drew was performing.

The former Ridgefield resident, who now resideds in Los Angeles and goes under the stage name of Drew Cole, finally made the cut and onto the show after auditioning several times over the last few years. Check out his debut performance on the Voice Monday night:

Drew also earned praise from all the competition’s judges, including Blake Shelton, Kelly Clarkson, and Alicia Keys, but he chose team Adam to begin his journey on the popular singing competition.
Six years ago, the viral video, "Golden Loves Guitar" garnered almost 14,000,000  YouTube views and forever changed the path of Drew’s career. Prior to this, Drew learned to play the guitar from his father and eventually began singing as the frontman of his Ridgefield High School rock band.
You can see more of Drew during the battle rounds on NBC's The Voice, Monday and Tuesday nights starting at 8 pm.
