On Tuesday evening, May 19 at 7pm, you're invited to the New Milford High School auditorium to hear former NBA player, Chris Herren tell his story about his 14 years as a drug addict. You'll hear him tell the story of one of his "rock bottoms" when he fulfilled his dream to play with the Boston Celtics back in 2001.

The Fleet Center was packed and included many of Herren's family and friends, but when the Celtics came out for their warmups, Chris Herren was nowhere to be found. Instead he was in full uniform outside the Fleet Center in the pouring rain waiting on his dealer before game time.

Chris's life mission has been to tell his story about those 14 years of addiction in hopes of reaching just one person and making a difference in their life. You'll hear Chris's story about shooting heroin before his mother's funeral, how he bailed on his wife and his new born son to get drunk and how he had to be brought back to life after an overdose.

Chris Herren finally decided to get himself clean in 2008 but immediately ran into another daunting challenge, the cost of effective treatment. Chris tells his whole story on May 19 at the New Milford High School auditorium at 7pm.

Admission is absolutely free.
