OK, I was only thinking about this because the 4,000th day in a row we had a story in Missed Headlines from Florida. That means your state sucks.

To be fair I on some level love Florida.  My parents have owned a home their since I was 18, my grandmother has since I was 7 or 8 and we vacationed there once a year since then.  Why I hate Florida.  First and foremost I moved there when I was like 26.  All I did was work and drive past the Gulf of Mexico everyday on my way to work (7 days a week).

When I did have time off I learned that a majority of the people that live in a resort town like the one I did were transplants.   Their was no real culture that I identified with because it was so scattered.  No legit music scene to speak of and people would come and go.

Yes when it's sunny 6 days a week and warm it's easier to get out of bed but when you have a fluid, non stable social scene and you are working all the time; what is the point.

Nice place to visit, I don't wanna live there.  PERIOD.

They call it:  "The second chance state" for a reason.
