  • Florida Republican Governor Rick Scott is spending two days in Connecticut hoping to lure companies to move.Scott arrived in Connecticut last night,and spoke with reporters saying that Governor Malloy and the legislature are not being responsive to the business community.
  • Facebook's diversity numbers were released yesterday and it doesn't look good for the social media giant. More than half the company's U.S. employees are white and more than a third are Asian. Only four-percent are Hispanic and just two-percent are African American. Facebook's challenge reflects the entire technology industry's struggle to become more diverse in terms of race, gender and age.
  • The times they are a changing! Millenials are pushing past Baby Boomers to become the biggest generational group in the U.S.New info from the Census Bureau shows people born between 1982 and 2000 now make up one-quarter of America's population. The 83-million millenials now outnumber babyboomers, who number around 75-million people. The Census Bureau notes that Generation M is the most culturally diverse generation ever in America, with 44 percent of the group belonging to a minority race or ethnic group.
