Flash Flood Watch in Effect For Our Area Through Tomorrow
The National Weather Service has issued a Flash Flood watch for our area through tomorrow evening.
Showers and Thundershowers with some locally heavy rain will continue thru early Tuesday. Rainfall rates could be as high as 2 to 3 inches per hour causing flooding in poor drainage area's.
The rain could also cause streams and small rivers to crest.
A Flash Flood means that conditions are right to produce Flash Flooding in lower lying area's. Flash Flooding is a very dangerous situation. You should continue to monitor forecast's and be prepared to take action if your in a flood prone area's.
