Five people have been arrested in association with an intense situation that occurred in Danbury on Wednesday afternoon.

According to the Danbury Police Department, on July 6, at about 4:30 PM, police officers were flagged down near the Mobil station located at 419 Main Street, and informed that an assault had taken place. They found that 23-year-old Savon Tallman of Danbury had suffered a large laceration just over his left eye. Tallman and Montel Watson, age 21, of Brookfield told the officers that 24-year-old Aaron Corderre, also of Brookfield, struck Tallman with a bat. Officers then located Aaron Corderre, and began an investigation.

During that investigation, it was determined that the Danbury Police responded to a domestic dispute on President Street thirty minutes prior, which ended up being the initial incident that sparked the assault at the Mobil station.

Apparently, a party was taking place at the President St. residence, and a male family member arrived uninvited. Aaron Corderre was in attendance, and confronted the unwanted guest, who was asked to leave. The guest then returned to the residence with Montel Watson, Savon Tallman, and Rodney Stevenson. From that point, Corderre was stalked and threatened for several hours by seven to ten people, including Tallman, Watson, and Stevenson.

Police say that when Aaron Corderre arrived at the Main St. Mobil station, he was confronted by Tallman and Watson, at which point he struck Savon Tallman with the bat.

Here is a list of the main charges that were filed as a result of the ordeal:

Aaron Corderre - First degree assault, two counts of weapons in a vehicle, and carrying a dangerous weapon. He is currently being held on a $50,000 bond.

Felicia Hallock (Age 23 of Sherman) - Conspiracy to commit first degree assault. She was released on a $2,500 bond.

Montel Watson - Breach of Peace, interfering with an officer, and stalking in the third degree. He was released on a $5,000 bond.

Savon Tallman - Breach of Peace and stalking in the third degree. He was released on a misdemeanor summons.

Rodney Stevenson (Age 42 of Danbury) - Interfering with an officer and released on a $2,500 bond.
