The News-Times has reported that a Roxbury man, 23 year old Alexander Villareal has been arrested because of a post on FB saying he wanted to "shoot up the DMV" according to State Police.Villareal was taken into custody at his home and was charged with first degree threatening, first degree harassment, and second degree breach of peace. The police also reported that he surrendered a gun which he legally owned. Villareal was released from custody after he posted a $10,000 bond with a promise to appear in Superior court in Bantam on January 6th.

I consider myself a responsible FB user and have only been accused of posting never ending photos of sunsets over Candlewood Lake along with constant photos of my grandson.

Just a little common sense should keep you out of trouble on Facebook. Here's my advice for what it's worth.

*No Threatening of Anyone - EVER

*Photos of You Doing Something Illegal

*Proclaiming Hatred for Your Job

*Compromising Photos

*Public Arguing with an Ex Wife/Husband

Any of the above FB behavior could ruin your chances of getting that job you want, maybe ruin your reputation, or it could land you in jail like the guy who confessed to killing his wife on FB.

Things that SHOULD be illegal to post on FB;

*Cat Photos

*Political or Religious Rants

*Motivational Messages

*Pictures of What You Had for Dinner Last Night
