There are still no words for the horror of December 14, 2012. I was on - air at i95 as the unimaginable was happening at Sandy Hook Elementary School in CT, just minutes down the road from the radio station. I have prayed for that moment in time to be the final turning point for change. Sadly we have been reminded time and time again that it was not. My wish for 2016 is that we do better. If you feel the same, read on.

The mission of Everytown.org is "to work together as Americans to end gun violence and build safer communities."

Everytown.org and their website wecanendgunviolence.org has put together a celebrity video ahead of the third anniversary of the mass shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary School. The video features actors Sofia Vergara, Jennifer Anniston, Julianne Moore, and comedians Amy Schumer and Sarah Silverman. You can also add your own video message to the PSA by clicking on wecanendgunviolence.org and learn more at Everytown.org

I know the debate remains passionate and strained. I know that I waiver on what would truly make a change, and I know it pains me on so many levels to know at this point there is no "easy fix." But I refuse to believe that this has become our new "norm". #EndGunViolence
