Every Day is Fat Tuesday …

I know how to celebrate ...

Ahhhh, Mardi Gras ... "Mardi Gras" is literally "Fat Tuesday" in French. "Fat Tuesday" is the name given to the Tuesday before Ash Wednesday. Ash Wednesday marks the beginning of the Lenten season, traditionally where people give up a vice in atonement for their many sins.

So, basically, Fat Tuesday is the party night of all party nights. Not so much here in Western CT and NY, but New Orleans is a disaster area today.

I've always wanted to go down there, and see this drunken food fest in person.
