- It's been confirmed. ESPN is laying off 300 workers, and 200 of those job cuts are at the world headquarters in Bristol. The laid-off workers have the option of remaining with the company for 60 days.
- Governor Malloy is confirming that transatlantic service is returning to Bradley International Airport. Aer Lingus will launch service from Connecticut to Dublin in 2016.
- Ben & Jerry's is taking its partnership with New Belgium Brewing to the next level. The two sides collaborated on a Salted Caramel Brownie Brown Ale earlier this year, and now there's ice cream to go along with it. The companies have announced the limited edition Salted Caramel Brown-ie Ale ice cream. The beer and ice cream will be available through the holiday season.
- Are you an Apple user? The new iOS 9.1 update rolled out yesterday and includes 150 new emojis. Among them - popcorn, a bottle of champagne and the long-awaited taco. And yes you can also flip someone off by using the much-anticipated middle finger emoji.
