If you're not a skier or snow boarder, how about "snow tubing?!" Thanks to The Newstimes, I've discovered "Woodbury Ski and Raquet" in Woodbury, CT.

Sure you can ski downhill or cross country and snowboard BUT, its most popular attraction is snow tubing. They feature a variety of trails aimed at all different skill levels. They're equipped with 20 trails and four lifts and just happen to be the largest snowtubing park in New England.

Whether you're 21 or 61, snow-tubing looks like a different type of "blast" of winter in New England.
