8 Dumb Laws in the State of Connecticut
There's always those laws you've heard of and think to yourself, "man, these are really stupid".
Here in Connecticut, we have some of those laws, a couple of which I've never heard of.
According to Dumb Laws, the Constitution State is home to some pretty ridiculous laws that I have to admit, I've broken before!
- It is illegal to dispose of used razor blades - Yeah, I regularly do this
- You cannot buy beer on Sundays in CT - Thank GOD that one was repealed!
- You cannot buy liquor in grocery stores - It would be SO much more convenient
- Town records may not be kept where liquor is sold - Politics and government = need booze
- Only White Christmas Lights are allowed in Guilford - Political correctness BS
- Fire trucks can't drive faster than 25mph in New Britain, period - even when going to a fire!
- Silly string is banned in the town of Southington - Halloween bummer
- It's unlawful to walk backwards after sunset in Devon - why would you?
Sometimes I feel like some of these people have way too much time on their hands. Big government isn't always a good thing folks!
