Do you have some fond memories of going to the drive-ins with just you and your boyfriend or girlfriend?

Back when I was growing up in the 60s, some of my fondest memories revolved around going to the drive-in on a warm Friday or Saturday night. I was a chubby 14-year-old back then, and a rabid Beatles fan, and I remember begging my dad to take me to see the first Beatles movie, A Hard Day's Night in August of '64 and their second movie, Help, which came out in August of '65.

Looking back, I realize the movies were God awful, but they showed the Beatles "playing" all their songs from the album, and you couldn't beat those small metal speakers pumping out some of the most hideous sound quality known to man.

On the other end of the spectrum, when my high school girlfriend Sharon and I hit up the drive-ins, there was no watching the movie. All we did was fog up the windows for two solid hours. I often wonder how in holy hell we were able to make-out for that long. Who has that kind of attention span?
