If it's free, it's for me, has always been a motto of mine. Let me share a freebie with you.

It comes as no surprise that the Flu season is here. I know we often forget, and then it sneaks up on you and kicks your ass. People tend to be on the fence about Flu shots, but I'm a fan. I've never had an adverse reaction, and I also haven't been stricken with the flu in a long time.

Here's a tidbit for Connecticut folks living in the Milford area to stay on top of their health this weekend.

The Connecticut Post is reporting that Milford Hospital is offering free flu shots to local residents. Officials say you can get the free shots Saturday, Jan. 21 at the Milford Hospital Walk In and Urgent Care center on 831 Boston Post Road.

No appointments will be taken, and for more information about the flu clinic you can call 203-876-4060.

Shots will be available from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. on a first come, first served basis. ctpost.com reports that only the first 200 hundred people eligible to get the vaccine will receive it.

Don't let the flu sneak up on you this season, unless of course you're looking for some sick days. Though I have to say, it's totally not worth time off to be shivering in bed and feeling like poop.
