Halloween is almost here. A day and night that most kids look forward to as much as Christmas and birthdays. But if a child suffers from a food allergy it can be a NIGHTMARE. Here's how you can help.

The Teal Pumpkin Project was launched last year by  FARE, Food Allergy Research & Education.

FARE'S hope is to have people  paint a pumpkin the teal and put it outside their house to indicate they have allergy-safe items. Experts say one-in-13 children suffers from a food allergy.

To help you out there is an interactive map of homes that have pledged to participate in the Teal Pumpkin Project just click on foodallergy.org.
