Have you seen this view of Waterbury before?

My mom is in Waterbury Hospital. Every member of my family has been in Waterbury Hospital over the years, and this spectacular view is so familiar to so many people.

I can't tell you how many times I've sat at one of those windows and watched the traffic cruising Colonial Plaza.

The people walking along West Main Street into downtown. The constant stream of humanity using The Mixmaster - going East and West on I-84, and North and South along Rt. 8.

What is really striking now though is the Holy Land Cross, barely visible due to my stank phone camera, but it's lit up purple for Easter, and it's beautiful. A tall beacon of hope for all those staring at it from their hospital beds.
