Do you, a friend, or a family member know a WWII veteran? The Danbury Council of Veteran's World War II 70th Anniversary & Remembrance Ceremony will be held on August 15, at the Rose Garden WWII Memorial on Memorial Drive in Danbury.

If you are a WWII vet or know someone who lives in Danbury or a surrounding town bordering Danbury who is a WWII vet, please contact Louise Pinard at lpinard@aol.com. and provide their name, branch and years of service, home and e-mail addresses, and phone number. This information is needed by August 4. During the ceremony all the veterans who died serving their country will be read. Certificates of recognition for the living Greater Danbury vets of WWII will be given to each vet.
