Now that the holidays are officially over an winter is in full swing, we’re all looking for something to do with our down time. Going to the movies, out to dinner, maybe getting a drink or two is nice, don’t get me wrong. But what if you’re looking for a little bit of adventure?

I’ve seen friends of mine posting pictures of themselves at an “Escape Room.” I have heard of them, but figured they we’re big attractions down in the city. You’re put into a room for an hour and you solve a problem or crime to let yourself and your group out. It’s a fun challenge that gets you out of the house and thinking. Recently, two just opened in the Danbury area.

Game of Rooms is located right on Old Sherman Turnpike and has three rooms you can pick from, "Outbreak," "Coven" and "Carnival." All three look terrifying and something to get your blood rushing during these cold months.

There's also one on Kenosia Ave called Escape 101. They have three rooms as well and one on the way. You can choose from "The Widows Room," "Jet Set" and "Mission 101" as of now and coming soon "Dooms Day." I just got chills and I don't think it's because of the weather.

Escape Rooms are great fun for your friends, but also excellent team building experiences. What do you think? Ethan, Lou, Pam, Tim, and Dave should all get in on this, right?
