The soap opera in Hartford continues. It should be titled, "The Story of the Lonely Balls".

Every day, it seems as if we will never, ever, put our butts in the seats of Dunkin' Donuts Park in Hartford Connecticut. Could this be the final out?

In a story from the Hartford Courant, Centerplan, the developer of the Dunkin' Donuts Hartford baseball stadium project, is suing the Hartford Yard Goats baseball team. If you've followed this drama filled saga, you know that the team has played all of their home games at Dodd Stadium in Norwich or road stadiums, because the Hartford venue is still not ready.

Centerplan and DoNo Hartford (Downtown North) are saying the Yard Goats and owner Josh Solomon insisted on design changes that caused them to miss construction deadlines. If you recall, from a story that I've previously published, the city of Hartford fired the developer back in June.

My first thought is, "Stop it boys, just play ball." My second thought is that it'll be a cold day in hell before we see that happen!
