Just a day after previewing the title track from his new solo album Rattle That Lock, David Gilmour has revealed further details regarding the LP — and announced a new round of North American tour dates.

[UPDATE: David Gilmour has added another Hollywood Bowl date in Los Angeles, as well as second stops in Toronto, Chicago and at Madison Square Garden in New York City.]

Due Sept. 18, Rattle That Lock closes a nearly 10-year gap between studio recordings for Gilmour, whose last solo outing, On an Island, arrived in 2006. Sessions for the 10-track collection were conducted mainly at his studio in Brighton, U.K., with additional recording taking place on his houseboat, and found the former Pink Floyd frontman working with a list of guests that includes Roxy Music’s Phil Manzanera, and former Squeeze member Jools Holland. As he often has in the past, Gilmour also collaborated with his wife Polly Sampson, who contributed to Rattle That Lock's lyrics.

The album will be available in a variety of configurations, including standard and deluxe digital editions, as well as a deluxe CD/Blu-ray combo pack and a vinyl release. The title track serves as the first single, and is set to make its radio debut on BBC Radio 2 tomorrow, arriving at digital and streaming services shortly after airing. Check out the complete track listing, as well as Gilmour's upcoming tour dates, below.
