We're not done celebrating St. Patrick's Day yet! Danbury has saved the best for last with the Hat City's Sat. Patrick's Day parade stepping off Sunday at 2 PM.

Danbury's Ancient Order of Hibernians sponsors and organizes the parade, which is traditionally held after St. Patrick's Day to avoid conflicts with parades in other communities.

The parade steps off from St. Peter's Church on Main Street, onto West Street and on to Lake Avenue, ending at the Greater Danbury Irish Cultural Center at 6 Lake Ave.

About 500 marchers are expected, from the city's police and firemen to scout troops to Irish step dancers.

Spectators are invited back to the Irish Cultural Center after the parade for Irish food, drink and music.
