The Workspace Collective is a store like no other, selling hand crafted unique items from all corners of the globe right here in Danbury.

What sets this store apart from others?

Shop owner, Meagan Cann told the Danbury Daily Voice that the Workspace Collective sells jewelry, clothing, and home accessories made in Thailand, Pakistan, Peru, and the Republic of Moldova. The items are not manufactured in factories, they are handmade by artisans who handcraft these unique items so they're able to make a living. According to Cann, each piece has its own story to tell about where and why it was crafted as told through the artisan. Cann went on to tell the Daily Voice,

Being able to create these pieces for a living has freed many of these women from sex-trafficking jobs.
