This new luxury apartment complex in downtown Danbury is filling up fast.

How much does luxury cost per month? At the corner of Kennedy Ave and Main Street in downtown Danbury are the newest additions to Danbury's downtown landscape. The Kennedy Flats complex are beautifully appointed high-end apartments that are filling quickly. According to the NewsTimes, 100 units are completed and 75% are spoken for.

The senior property manager for Kennedy Flats, Justin Gaboury told the NewsTimes,

"We've been seeing a lot of working professionals from the Danbury area as well as a lot of Westchester residents looking to move into the state. We already have quite a few residents in the building."

Two bedroom units start at $2,028/month. Danbury is trying to create a luxury rental environment in the city. According to rentjungle.com, the average monthly rent for a luxury apartment in Stamford is $2,250 and in Danbury the average 1 bedroom rental runs $1,558/month.

The complex will eventually have 345 units made up of both apartments and town homes and the amenities are outstanding. They include an in-ground pool, fitness center, a resident lounge area covering many levels, and even a dog washing station. Mayor Mark told the Ethan and Lou Show that he's taken the tour and is thinking of moving in to Kennedy Flats himself.
