Outstanding Strength. Those two words say a lot.

But they don't tell the whole story, because Matt Kryspin is a lot stronger than what he has accomplished with weights. At the age of 3, he was diagnosed with autism.

The Special Olympics of Connecticut Facebook page is highlighting this young man who became a Top Performing Athlete in Powerlifting at their Unified Sports Holiday Classic. Matt Kryspin weighs in at 159 pounds and showed "extraordinary strength" as he bench-pressed 285 pounds and dead-lifted 405 pounds.

It's not the only big achievement for Matt Kryspin. He is also the author of the book titled, I Live my Life with Autism Talk about a great stocking stuffer! You can order it from Amazon.com.

I will admit that I don't know a lot about sports, but I do know a lot about autism. 21 years ago, my own son was diagnosed when he was almost 3-years-old. Gregory has always been my greatest inspiration and the strongest person that I have ever known.

It makes my heart swell with pride that someone like Matt Kryspin can be such an amazing role model and show the world that a diagnosis does not have to hold you down.
