Most participating restaurants that provide free food on your birthday require you to sign up for their 'Birthday Club' or their email signup. Check the restaurant's website before asking for your free birthday food or surprise. What is that? A birthday surprise? I've heard that might be when the servers all come over to your table and throw french fries at the birthday boy or girl. Who's to say!
