A peaceful vigil will take place tonight, Thursday, December 1 as Danbury stands up for unity and justice. Will you be there?

From Danbury Patch comes a reminder about tonights peace vigil in downtown Danbury. It's called the, Danbury Area Vigil For Unity and Justice taking place tonight from 5pm until 6:30pm at Danbury's Public Library at 170 Main Street at the corner of Main and West Street. This peaceful vigil gives the community an opportunity to come together and stand up in solidarity for unity and justice.

The event this evening will include a candlelight vigil, speakers from various Danbury communities, signs and banners, and art. Some may say that this election has been polarizing and divisive. The peaceful vigil this evening gives like minded folks a chance to share ideas and dialogue about how the Danbury community can be an inviting environment for all races, religions, sexual orientations, and immigration status.
