An elderly woman had her purse ripped from her hands on Monday (October 22) in Danbury and police are looking for the creep that did it.

The Danbury Police Department have posted the incident on their Facebook page. Video surveillance shows that the purse snatching occurred on Center Street, not far from St. Peter’s Church at about 7:00pm this past Monday night. The Danbury Police Detective Bureau says that the person they are looking for was wearing a blue hoodie, dark pants and light colored shoes. Investigators said that there were several people close by when the incident occurred and are hoping that someone comes forward with more details.
