Danbury Elks Help Child With Brain Tumor This Sunday

You may remember the story about Aubrey, the 4-year-old little girl with Diffuse Intrinsic Pontine Glioma (DIPG) - a brain tumor in the brainstem.

Aubrey is a beautiful 4 year old girl who is as full of life. Because the tumor cells are mixed with other normal cells in the brain stem, the tumor cannot be removed. Radiation can help shrink the tumor, but cannot eliminate it completely.

I cannot imagine the emotional and financial toll on Aubrey's family.

If you missed the fundraiser last time, you have another chance to help Aubrey's family with medical bills. The Elks Lodge in Danbury will hold a fundraiser this Sunday, March 13th. There will be a 50/50 raffle, a silent auction, food and lots of kids activities. The Elks Lodge No. 120 is located at 36 Sugar Hollow Road, Danbury, CT.
