Add a day full of awesomeness set in downtown Danbury to your schedule of things to do in September.

Just sit back while I search out cool things for you to do with friends and family in the months to come. Let me add to your social calendar. Put a check mark on Sept. 23rd and get ready to enjoy downtown Danbury.

The Cultural Alliance of Western Connecticut proudly presents the Danbury Artisans Street Fair on Saturday Sept. 23 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. taking place on Main Street from White and West Street.

Everything from handmade jewelry, sculpture, fantastic food trucks, music, kids activities and more will make the day fun for the whole family. The Danbury Artisans Street Fair will not only feature twenty creators of original work from Connecticut, New York, and New Jersey, but Main Street merchants will also offer discounted goods and Fair specials in front of their shops throughout the day.

As a side note, volunteers are needed, so if you'd like to help out, call 203 - 798 - 0760

Now get out there and have fun.
