Great news to share on this 78th annual Veterans Day.

First, let me say a tremendous heartfelt thank you to all those service members past and present who sacrifice for our Freedom.

For many, once that service is over, where and how do you move forward? I'm excited to share some great news concerning a university in Connecticut.

U.S. News and World Report is recognizing Fairfield University in Connecticut as the top school in the northern part of the country for veterans seeking a college degree.

U.S. News and World Report considered several factors in ranking colleges, including federal initiatives assisting veterans to pay for their degrees. Schools must be certified in the GI Bill and must participate in the Yellow Ribbon program to be considered for the list.

Thank you again to every service member, as well as their families, for the sacrifice you've made. And if higher education is in your future, I hope the info about Fairfield University is helpful.
