  • Governor Malloy is endorsing the peer based violence prevention initiative Say Something, where teens are urged to tell someone if they hear that a classmate is planning an act of violence.   • Forecasters are saying that Hurricane Patricia is the strongest hurricane ever measured. The storm is off the southwestern coast of Mexico and with winds of 200 miles-per-hour.

 

  • Researchers at Washington State University say they're developing a breathalyzer that detects marijuana use. WSU chemistry professor Herbert Hill says the breathalyzer is designed to work like the portable breath monitors that are currently used to test for alcohol consumption.

 

  • Facebook Search will now include all public posts. A company spokesman says the new search capabilities will enable users to find out what the world is saying about popular topics. The new search updates are available on iPhone, Android and desktop.
