  • CT.gov has been completely redesigned and Governor Malloy says the new site will increase usability, customer service, transparency and access for visitors.The home page contains a series of eight new sections designed to easily allow visitors to navigate the site. Take a look - click on CT.GOV
  • United Airlines is ending service to and from New York's John F. Kennedy Airport in October. The airline will transfer its flights between JFK and Los Angeles and San Francisco to its hub in Newark, New Jersey.Delta plans to take over United's JFK slots. In exchange, United will acquire Delta's slots at Newark Liberty International Airport.
  • Looking for something great to do this weekend outdoors? Billed as the country's largest annual environmental celebration- the CLEARWATER FESTIVAL is back for two days at Croton Point Park on the Hudson River.   • Let's hear it for a different kind of GREEN! Today is National Eat Your Vegetables Day. Researchers at William Paterson University rank watercress as the most nutritious vegetable you can eat. Chinese cabbage came in second, followed by chard, beat greens and spinach. Hopefully one if not many of those choices appeal to you. If not, researchers say mix up your colors when eating vegetables. Stay healthy!
