With all the serious crap that we've been surrounded by on a daily basis, I thought that maybe some thoughts on cows might lighten things up!

1. Cows have almost 360 degree panoramic vision

2. Cows can't see the color red! That whole red flag matador thing? It's the fluttering of the red flag that gets the bull's attention. 

3. Cows have an amazing sense of smell and can detect odors up to 6 miles away. 

4. Cows have no upper front teeth.

5. Cows move their jaws about 40,000 times a day.

6. Cows consume more than 100 pounds of food and slurp up 40 gallons of water per day. 

7. Cows don't enjoy being alone.

8. Cows spend between 10 and 12 hours a day lying down
