After months of planning their escape, a handful of cows finally made their break from a Sherman pasture yesterday.

C'mon now, we're all aware that cows are unable to plan a prison break all by themselves. The real story was reported by the NewsTimes telling us that the cows simply wandered away from their pasture off Anderson Road. The police were not called in to help search for the bovines.

So now you've got Sherman First Selectman, Don Lowe, complete with dress pants and shirt along with the cows' owner hiking through the woods looking and calling the cows to come on home. No word yet if the cows have been found. I'm sure you've been wondering how farmers call their herd back to their pens. This YouTube video will answer all your questions.
