Contest Invites Jokes For Pope To Fund Charities – No Foolin’

Pope Francis has sanctioned JOKE WITH THE POPE.ORG for charity and it's just such a great story!

Pope Francis wants people to send him jokes. The Pontifical Mission Societies has created a campaign - JOKE WITH THE POPE - for people to send jokes that will be judged by a panel including actor/comedian Bill Murray.

The winner's joke will have $10,000 dollars donated to one of three causes: helping street children in the Pope's hometown of Buenos Aires, Argentina; housing homeless people in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia; or feeding hungry people in Nairobi, Kenya.

The winner will have the title "honorary comedic adviser to the Pope."

You have until the contest deadline of Oct. 2 to get your "funny on" for these great causes. You can view the ones already submitted at JOKE WITH THE POPE
