Should Infowars host Alex Jones be allowed to have his defamation trial moved out of Fairfield County?

What did this conspiracy theorist think was going to happen? Shortly after the Sandy Hook massacre took place, Alex Jones began preaching to his followers on his Infowars website that the murders of those 20 children and 6 adults were totally fabricated.

Some of his fanatical followers began harassing and threatening some of the family members who lost their loved ones on that horrifying day where life as they knew it would never be the same. According to CNN, this is what Jones said on March 14, 2014,

We've clearly got people where it's actors playing different parts of different people. I've looked at it and undoubtedly there's a coverup, there's actors, there's manipulating, they've been caught lying and they were pre-planning before it and rolled out with it.

In August of 2018, six of those Sandy Hook families filed a lawsuit against Jones claiming they were continually being harassed and some claim they even received death threats by some of his followers.

According to an article in the Hartford Courant, Jones has asked a Connecticut judge to move those defamation cases against him from Bridgeport to Windham County. Jones sites his First Amendment rights and now says he does believe the shootings happened. Lawyers for the families have said they will oppose moving the trial.
