Temperatures are colder than a "witches you-know-what." Here's the info you need to know.The National Weather Service has issued a Wind Chill Advisory running from 7 p.m. tonight through 8 a.m. Thursday morning.

Gov. Dannell Malloy has activated the State's Severe Cold Weather Protocol, running now through Saturday. The protocol directs various departments to coordinate with 211 and Connecticut's network of shelters.

According to the National Weather Service, Danbury could experience scattered snow showers under partly sunny skies. Temperatures will be at a high of 22 degrees, with a wind chill factor of zero to 10 degrees. Wind gusts will reach 31 mph.

Tonight the temperatures could drop below zero, with wind chill and temperatures values at negative 10 to negative 20 degrees. Thursday promises to be sunny with a high of 18, that will drop to about 13 degrees at night with a possibility of snow showers.
