Connecticut’s “Preserve the Sound” Lighthouse has been sold
You've seen the "Preserve the Sound" license plates on vehicles in Connecticut for years, the featured lighthouse on that license plate has been sold at an online aution.
in a story published by TheNewstimes.com, the Saybrook Breakwater lighthouse located in the part of Old Saybrook that Katherine Hepburn resided, has been sold for the bargain price of $290,000.
If you've mad that you missed out on this auction, don't worry, there is another Connecticut lighthouse up for sale, it's in Norwalk, the Peck Ledge Lighthouse. Someone has put a bid in for 10 grand on it. 10 grand. It's going to take a whole hell of a lot of money to get the lighthouse ready to live in, and you have to climb off a boat onto a ladder to get onto the structure, but what a bargain!
