Imagine yourself walking up Greenwood Ave. in Bethel just doing some shopping when from out of nowhere come three innocent looking guys riding bikes on the side of the road. Are they riding very slowly? Are they wearing bulky jackets on a sunny 80 degree day? It may be nothing, but it could be something. That type of situation could warrant a 9-1-1 call.

Of course, you should be able to take a relaxing walk around town or in your neighborhood without a care in the world, but unfortunately, times have changed where you now need to be aware of your surroundings and observe what's going on. Who's coming and who's going. Chances are you won't be in harm's way, but an attack like those in London came with no warning. This is exactly why the Connecticut Police are asking everyone to help them out by being vigilant. Call the tip line anytime to report suspicious activity at 1-866-457-8477 for non-urgent matters and 9-1-1 for more serious matters.
