The clock is quickly ticking down to back to school. Every child should be able to start their new school year with new supplies. Obviously for many, that isn't always the case. Here's how you can help.

Even the kid that isn't excited to leave Summer behind and head back to school, still wants to do so with new pens, notebooks, pencils, crayons, and the like, all stuffed into a brand new back pack. If you'd like to help make that a reality for children all around Connecticut, the State Police would be very happy.

With that in mind, this is your last chance to donate to the State Police’s annual back-to-school drive.

troopers have been running this drive since July, collecting backpacks and school supplies for students of all ages. Items like crayons, pencils, pens, markers, glue sticks, notebooks, calculators and rulers are needed.

The final push is on. Here's a listing of all of the Trooper barracks, and the addresses from the Connecticut State Police Facebook page:

You know what a good feeling it will be when you see the school buses start rolling and there's children on board that you've helped.
