According to CNN, Barnes & Noble will roll out four new concept stores next year. Each location will have breakfast, lunch and dinner menus complete with a beer and wine selection.

The four stores will be launched in Eastchester, New York; Folsom, California; Edina, Minnesota and Loudon, Virginia.

That's it America. We did it. We now need to be plied with booze in order to trick us into reading. We can't even read anymore.

I guess it makes sense. I mean, some of the world's finest authors were heavy drinkers. Many of them drank while writing, so why not drink while reading? If there were one of these places around here, you'd better believe I'd be hammered drunk, and reading like it's my job.

I know Barnes & Noble must be struggling trying to keep the doors open. I mean, with all the digital options we have, you can see how they would get lost in the mix, but I really like Barnes & Noble. Every time I have been in one, I get lost. First, I start with historical books, then it's on to autobiographies, and before you know, it I'm staring at Kim Kardashian's fat rear-end on the cover of People Magazine. In fact, now I wanna go book shopping. Rather than wait for these concept bookstores to make it our way, I think I'll just go pick up a 6-pack and head to my local bookstore.
