Say WHAT????  Don't you feel SO much better about all the Easter Chocolate you consumed? Well you should, but then again, maybe not. Time for the truth!

GREAT NEWS...

Researchers at Columbia University and New York University found that a large dose of flavanols were better for the brain than EXERCISING!!! Yeah -  there is a God in Heaven. By the way, chocolate contains flavanols which is a chemical compound. Flavanols increased blood flow to the brain, improved people's memory, and generally made them sharper overall.

BAD NEWS...

It sadly takes a TON of flavanols to do all that good stuff.
Researchers used a concentrated form of cocoa powder for their testing. In reality you'd have to eat 44 POUNDS of chocolate in a DAY to get the results! I know some of you are saying "Pam is that REALLY a bad thing"?

In the long run, it IS worse for your body...so until we can get our mits on that jacked- up concentrated cocoa powder I guess it's time to exercise!
